Dan, I'm all done with the ladder for now. No problem. The cut out in picture 2 is a forced air vent. The knucklehead that did the previous remodel had the hot air on inside walls, and cold air on the outside walls. I had to block the other side of the cut out in the bedroom, since it was a return air vent, back to back in the bathroom also. I made the cut out a forced air vent, not a return air vent because who wants to smell what happens in the bathroom.

BTW, congrats to Joe and Crystal on your anniversary!
