The odd thing is every single thing they do with cards...my dad, although he has been retired from printing for about 7 years, can tell me exactly how they would have made the card. And that's coming from a guy that never printed anything like that in all his years as a printer. That's kinda cool though. Hey...how did they make this or that? Pretty nice to have someone who would know.

I've always thought of this car when I see supers. Nice post.

It's one of those cars that I knew about, but haven't thought of since I started collecting cards.

I probably inherited it from my sister, as it came out a few years before I was born.

Yea when taking my son to check out some local fire trucks I noticed that as well. I thought to my self SON OF A BITCH! THIS IS A HUGE SUPER! of course my son & wife would have no clue or anyone else for that matter. Good observation though. subpop77

I'll see your 70s car parts and raise you a landmark aircraft.

I always thought of the Jimmy Stewart movie Spirit of St Louis when I see supers. When they're fabricating the plane, there's a brief shot of a guy with the sheet metal on a drill press, and the guy has a spinning brush bit polishing out the little circles. These overlap more than supers, but same idea.
