Jason Kipnis, for example. I'm not saying he has no place to go but down, but I would think you're better off selling.

Yasmani Gandal
Chris Sale
Mike Trout (obviously)

Guys who are basically at the MLB level and probably won't go down any time soon. But they hype of their call up and early success will inevitably fade (not unlike Belt or Goldschmidt).

Others?

At first I thought this was gunna be a thread about prospects that hit their ceiling and then tanked, but whom I still had a bunch of cards of *cough Phil Hughes cough*. But on the topic at hand, I disagree with Kipnis being in the "must sell now or regret it later" category. The kid has 20/40 (and maybe 30/40 with a hot streak) potential with a .275 avg. His Chrome auto is only $15-$20, there's still room for growth.

I still have a couple of Bundy autos.. but that could go either way considering what I paid.

Curious to know what you mean regarding the price you paid. It would seem that the price you paid is a sunk cost and now it is simply a matter of whether the card will be worth more in the future than it is now...

I sold the couple Sale autos I have, but if you think he is for real and not going to regress/get hurt I think he is still a pretty good buy. If he is in the Cy Young race and the White Sox keep winning I think he still has some room.

Bundy and Bauer are close to that territory for me, but being that I pulled or got in cheap on what I have the collector in me is winning over against the businessman.

I think Chris Sale is a decent hold/sell

He is 8 months younger than Steven Strasburg and is having a better year..not saying that means anything, but just saying

He's a high risk hold, but if he goes on to win a CY Young, could be double or triple the current prices

Same with Grandal...He's still quite young and has had one of the most under rated minor league careers...very few players have the ability to obtain .400+ OBP

Like you said, best to sell, but it all depends on performance...If Grandal keeps up 4 homers every 6 games, you'll see another spike ;)

Well I could just sell now and make double. Or like you said, I could roll the dice.

I have 2 Dylan Bundy Blue Autos that I've had since the first of the year. I paid only $100 for one and $120 for the other and I tell myself all the time to just sell them but I havent yet.

I think Billy Hamilton's chromes might have a little more giddy up during the Futures Game. I'm still contemplating if I should sell my X-Fractor.
