Scott Rolen is much less valuable, and gets in the way of Frazier playing because of Dusty.

Well he has played 20 less games than Stubbs so I wasn't really even considering the semi-retire Rolen. BTW Dusty getting two mentions on this thread and I think this might be one of his best jobs ever. Easily one of the most under appreciated managers of all-time.

I like Dusty, I just think he gets really stubborn even when something isn't working.

Hosmer, Arencibia, Uggla (despite the AS start), Freddie Freeman's power, Brian McCann, Jonny Venters

I'm as big a Braves homer as they come, but I too was surprised Uggla got an AS spot, much less START! He has no business being there over Brandon Phillips. I'll give Freddie a pass because he's been having finger issues, but Mac and Venters are also good calls.

Justin Smoak doesn't even hit as well as KEN Brett.

You may have intended to be kidding, but you are 100% correct. Smoak's career OPS+ is just 88. Ken Brett had a career OPS+ of 95. Of all pitchers in the last 50 years with at least 200 plate appearances, that's the highest OPS+, and it's not even close. Earl Wilson is 2nd with an OPS+ of 76.

Also, Ken Brett homered in FOUR straight starts in 1973, but Smoak has only homered in three straight games.

Not that Chris Volstad is any good, but he's 0-7 with a 7.94 ERA in nine starts. Tough to be any crappier than that.

Nyjer Morgan. He's shoved almost as many fans as he has RBIs, 1 to 5.

Remember last year when everyone PROMISED that Nyjer would turn into a cancer this year when he started sucking it up? Remember when everyone was still wrong to this point? Yeah, good times...

He does suck something fierce this year though.
