I'll be there, PadreMurph I know I have seen you in the Valley Baseball card shop.......I went laast year but as a guest of Trey Williams. You want to carpool or meet up for a pregame brew. That gaslamp area around Petco is insane.

Correct. And Topps will be handing out cards as usual.

Nice, how do the cards work? There is only a few hundred sets, right? So does everyone get one card or one set? I see people that end up with numerous sets on ebay.

Nice, you live in the Valley? Introduce yourself next time you see me. I'm from SD so I'll probably be down there all weekend but I'm definitely down to meet up before and what not. It's open seating, right? Who did Trey Williams ended up getting drafted by?

Not sure how many get handed out to each person (varies each year), but there were 300 of each player distributed last year.

Who did Trey Williams ended up getting drafted by?

Cardinals.

2 per person usually, can get more if you buy multiple tickets.

I'd be down for a meetup too, just invited myself, not weird at all!:)

Yea, let's all meet up. So two cards per person and tickets are $5 so maybe buy 8-10 tickets and hope for the best. So how do the guys end up with multiple sets? Through Topps, not attending the game? Only guy I really recognize on the roster is Austin Meadows, and I know Uni has a good pitcher projected to go top 5, I'm assuming he'll be there.

Well you can buy tickets a bit at a time and try and get a Meadows, or gamble buying 20 tickets to try and get a whole set or a little more.

Looks like a great lineup and I look forward to attending this game every year and can't wait. Typically, you can get more cards by buying multiple tickets. Thanks for the info.
