At first I was going to pass on the stub, but then I started thinking how collection-specific it is for me (Fregosi, Carew, Angels, Anaheim Stadium) and bit the bullet. And the $20 would have most likely been spent on card(s) that are readily available at a later time. This seemed like a once in a long while opportunity.

No idea if I "overpaid" but the price made sense to me.

It's a 1997 Reprint from Topps. It's a reprint of his 55 Bowman.

Bubbling is 100% par for the set, but it looks way better than the scan suggests.

Good point. I'm painting in a school with no air conditioning except for one hallway, and sadly, we aren't in the A/C hallway anymore. So I'd rather sit there, but it'd be too obvious if I just sat there since the janitors like to monitor me

Yeah, apparently people have recently listed some of these Mays autos as 1996 instead of 1997 - resulting in a few underpriced sales. ::facepalm::::facepalm:: Ah, well. I'm actually just trying to accumulate some PP for a possible buy so I'm willing to honor a close price to what the mislisted ones sold for.

Regardless of the year they only made 1 player per year and I am not sure buyers search by year on these, I did not to search prices.
