He was a can't miss prospect, but hasn't had a real chance to shine so far.

He went to high school right here in my hometown of Huntington Beach and is always working with local Little Leaguers on a volunteer basis. Good guy.

Phil Hughes was a Conger collector back on BMB

Good morning all.

Happy belated birthday Paul. Good luck fishing, I hope it more "catching" than fishing.

Winni has been great both times I've been previously. We fish for small mouth almost exclusively up there and easily can catch 20-30 fish over the 8 hour tournament day. It's not hard to stay busy all day partnered with the right person who is willing to run and gun to multiple spots. The only thing I'm hoping is that its not oppressively hot (although the amount of bikini's would be considerably higher if it was). Winni is a huge summer home/tourist spot and one of the area's we fish on it called Paugus Bay is like the cruising spot for all the race boats/big money cruisers/party boats and the bikini clad hotties that go with them. Nothing like fishing with a view!!

I still have a good amount of his stuff sitting on my desk.

So has Taylor posted today what team he needs some base cards from now. Since it started as the Orioles and the went to the Rays and is currently the Indians.
I'm just thinking of send him about 5k worth of cards of all 30 teams and that should cover it.

if I worked a 1st shift job I would probably play just to stay in shape... I had a blast playing home run derby with my cousins a couple weeks back but there is no way I could get into fast pitch anything after not playing since little league.

I enjoy playing it because its just something to do, and since I can't play baseball anymore I figure why not. I also like it because its competitive, but at the same time relaxing. But I've been having a hard time with my arm strength lately. I play out in left/left center and I just can't keep up my arm strength for the entire season
