Barack Obama Bobblehead

We have a local team that plays in the Northwoods League. For those of you who don't know the Northwoods League is a summer league for college players, teams are from Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan. Our local team is the Wisconsin Woodchucks. Former Brewer Jim Ganter was their manager a few years ago and Ben Zobrist, Pat Neshek and Daniel Descalso all played for the Woodchucks among several other lesser named major leaguers (Such as Lance Broadway).

Anyway tonight was Presidential Bobblehead Night. The first 1,000 people got their choice of a Barack Obama or Mitt Romney bobble head. I chose Obama and as you can see by the pictures looks pretty cool!

Those are pretty cool. Willmar just had their bobblehead night for Jordan Smith. I was lucky enough to get one.

The Woodchucks did a Zobrist bobblehead night earlier in the season. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it.

That sucks. Max Scherzer's former team did one not long ago of him.


I know bobblehead night all across the various baseball leagues in America is a huge deal, but it seems to be so much bigger in the Northwoods League.

Yeah I agree. They do bobblehead nights really well in the Northwoods league, at least from my experience. The Woodchucks usually do it 5-6 times a season.
