This is actually an amazing idea, is there anyway we could seriously figure out a way to do it?

Agree, if FCB won it, put all 219 cards in a hopper and draw out one by one, people would buy into this to get a shot at that Ultimate Collection Auto.

Incredible collection. It just got better and better as I scrolled down. Never seen so many Ichiro rookies in one place. And all PSA 10's to boot! It has to go over $15k.

People keep saying money left on the table. This is a prewar auction and his stuff sets top dollar. I cant see being much money left on the table for that.

8-12k would be my guess.

Seller is definitely leaving money on the table by listing as a lot rather than singles, but even then, this should get decent money

If it goes that low, I'll happily take it ;)

Although I have a snipe set, I have a feeling that it may push well past what I am comfortable paying for it with the intention being to purchase it, split it up and resale it.

The Ultimate collection auto would do that much on it's own. I agree that this is a foolish way to list them but I still think it will get $20K+. Don't under estimate the power of PWCC listings.

A little high on that quote of the UC auto, wouldnt ya say?

One jersey/auto version #'d 26/50 sold for $2,600. Albeit non-graded.

I am by no means an Ichiro collector, but I dont see the PSA 10/250 getting more than $3500-4000

A couple of years back a Bgs 9 went for 4600. The Ultimate Psa 10 is over a 6k card for sure. I was searching for them everyday a while back when i was looking for one. The one /50 sold for 1800 (you have to click on the auction to see the actual $ it sold for). Ungraded in about nm/mt they sell for about 2000 - 2200. Not many are in great shape - there are not many 9s let alone 10s, i think he said pop of 2.

Brian Gray should buy it and use it for a future product. Best of Ichiro.

3 Box case would be 73 cases. He can add 21 more cards to make it 80 cases.

Say he wins it at $15K... for 219 cards thats roughyl $68 a card... 3 box case $205.... im sure he could get $200 per box with people chasing those monsters.

I stand corrected!

10k already.
Edit - 13k with well over 5 days left.
I think 15k was a pipe dream. Could be 25k

I was laughing at the low estimates. No money will be left on the table.

It really is crazy how some people here think. So many have no clue what they are talking about and just follow what others are saying. You guys really need to do some research before you start typing things out. Granted it's not all if you but it's amazing how many people talk out there ass here.

*END RANT*

Also after I looked at that it looks like that was directed at the person I quoted, it's not! I am agreeing with him.

It went past a few of them in the first day. I in no way underestimated the value here but at the same time still think about 10 auctions would have been best. With ALL of the major brand rcs there i doubt alot of the final bid will account for the majority of the insert ud rcs. There is just too much there. He might not be leaving thousands on the table but there is no way that lot wouldn't get a bit more (if not a good chunk more) with it broken up a bit. He will do well though, it should be intyeresting to watch.

Agreed. It's basic selling technique 101. Lots rarely EVER get the same price per-card as if it was broken up and sold as singles. Most people bidding on this will most likely only be bidding on the top-5 to 10 cards out of the 200+, with little to no regard for all the other stuff, which if sold on their own, would garner more bids/profit. In summation, I bet this lot doesn't get very much more than the high sell value of the best 5 to 10 cards.

This auction is nuts... on a side note, does it bother anyone else who PSA doesn't have all horizontal cards facing the same way?! Some in his scan are facing left but most right... one card is a double and PSA has one going right and the double going left LOL
