FCB Power Rankings on August 13, 2012

1. Nationals
2. Reds
3. Yankees
4. Rangers
5. Braves
6. Tigers
7. Pirates
8. Giants
9. Cardinals
10. Red Sox

This poll is closed and I will start another one on Saturday morning. We'll see if things change next week!!!

Thought this could be a fun thing to do every week. Simply rank who you think are the best teams in baseball RIGHT NOW, #'s 1 to 10. Stopped at 10 to entice more people to do it. No explanation necessary (if you want to, go ahead) and debates are welcomed. Just make sure your list is noticeable.

Each slot is important b/c of the scoring system so think carefully. Scoring system is as follows:

1. 12 points
2. 9 points
3. 8 points
4. 7 points
5. 6 points
6. 5 points
7. 4 points
8. 3 points
9. 2 points
10. 1 point

I'll calculate FCB's total Sunday night after Sunday Night baseball and we can see what FCB Power Rankings are. Here are my 10 for this round:

1. Nationals
2. Yankees
3. Rangers
4. Reds
5. Braves
6. Tigers
7. Giants
8. White Sox
9. Pirates
10. Angels

Oh come on! You know, I was excited that you actually posted in this thread. Thought you were dipping your hand in the big leagues for once and then you let me down choosing minor league teams.

Nice list though. Care to share your thoughts on the MLB teams?

Well when you get rocked by my lowly Royals and make Will Smith look like a future Cy Young Candidate....then you don't deserve any. ;) I mean seriously....Billy Butler gets a triples?!?!?!
A #1 pick pitched game 2?? ;)
:p

The Yankees make me wonder how they win so many games when most of their team hits sub .270. It's all long balls I guess.

The Tigers are 2nd in the AL batting .272
The Yankees are 6th in the AL in batting .266

The difference between .266 and .272? 1 hit in 167 ABs.

If anything you should be wondering how the Oakland A's are within 0.5 games of the Tigers in the Wildcard while they are hitting an MLB worst 0.230

We just felt bad about Manny only hitting a triple in his debut so needed to give him the equivalent of a BP pitcher to warm him up for the stretch drive.

You mean a single, and triple in game 1 right? ;)
