I sent out a package through USPS the day after a buyer on eBay paid. USPS mis-shipped the package and the tracking just updated (2 weeks later) saying it left sort facility (although it updated mis-shipped 2 weeks ago). The buyer left me a negative and dinged all my rating with the sole reason of it being mis-shipped. Is there anything I can do?

Total guess on my part... but Id say if you insured it you might be able to get something back. But again... total guess.

I had a case opened against me when the package was sent correctly, but the tracking never updated after it left the sort facility. I explained it all to the Buyer, and it never showed up there or came back to me. But, since I shipped it and could prove it, eBay actually paid the Seller and I got my PP funds back...

I hope yours turns out that well!

The item is coming to him! It was updated as it being on its way. It left a sort station today. Then the buyer decided to leave a negative, AFTER it updated.

You may have a case if you can show it was delivered to get the neg removed, but I wouldn't be overly optimistic. Unfortunately ran into an impatient buyer.

Just put in a reply to his neg saying that his negative feedback was unjustified because you fulfilled your obligation as a seller and that USPS is at fault for mis-shipping. People who see neg feedback will read it and understand if they have common sense. If not, then they aren't people worth dealing with.

Hey what is your eBay name so I can avoid your auctions since you can't seem to ship correctly.
I'm kidding of course sorry to hear this has happened

And most importantly what is the buyers user name so I can block him, so this will not happen to me......

I would hope eBay can see that this guy as an impatient buyer and remove the unjustified Negative he left.

Maybe there is a quicker way of getting there, but log in, then click on your Summary. Then, click your feedback score right next to your ebay name. Scroll all the way to the bottom, then look for

I believe you could also contact the seller and ask if he'd be willing to get the feedback retracted. I have heard that's possible on a mutually-agreed-to situation.
