Is it an error or something?

I have no idea. I can say that I don't recall seeing that card on eBay for a very long time. Rare Ryno inserts from the 1990s and certain auto issues have generally dried up. The result is collectors are very aggressive in their bidding.

It's not that I know of. As James said, it's not one I see often (third in five years). Had a deal on table with seller, but someone offered higher and beat me to BIN.

I didn't get the card and wasn't even aware of it. Fifty dollars would have been way too rich for my blood on that card anyway.

No problem - The seller seems like a great guy too. I've been messaging back and forth with him quite a bit. I snagged one of the Larkins from him.

How rare are the 1999 UD Choice Prime Choice Reserve Jumbos? I can't seem to find info on them on Beckett.

I've been collecting ARod for 16 years now and just saw the first one today. I bought it. I didn't even know if there was one of him or not in the set. There was discussion about these variations a while back. Whoever was leading the conversation had a Griffey and was inquiring about them as well. I don't recall what was ever established.

That's exactly why I was asking! Glad it went to a board member.

Want to give a shout out to the guy who posted right before me (Eric - RustyGreerFan) for sending me this cool oddball for the Grace PC. Far as I can tell it's a press check card (printer scrap) from 1998 Donruss. Has a Grace front and Rusty Greer back, no foil, and no gloss. Kind of thing a printer would do as a press check. Doubt it was packed out. Whatever it is, it's interesting, I've posted it on my oddballs page, and I'm very thankful for Eric's graciousness in sending it my way. FCB board members rule - thanks Eric!

Awesome card and welcome to FCB. Nice to see another local 90s collector.

Thanks, I need to wander over to the football section to see if there is a similar thread there. I don't collect any current football but I have loads of these types of inserts for my supercollection (Trent Dilfer) and might be able to provide/receive useful info.

I almost bought it but didn't really think about it. I had forgotten about the discussion on the board earlier.

I thought your username was familiar - are you still chasing Dilfer cards? I think you and the Mark Brunell collector have the most amazing football player collections I've ever seen.

1995 Stadium Club FDP???

So if I'm reading correctly -

were only inserted in Series II packs and only included cards 1-270. So only 270 of the 630 have a FDP parallel?

Also in Series I packs there were 9 cards that were basically fake FDP promos that were inserted one per box, meaning there are 9 cards that have far more copies than the standard issue of the same cards issued in the Series II 1-270 standard release.

Noticed the 9 parallels from Series 1 have a slightly different "TSC" logo on the reverse than their Series II standard counterparts.

I guess long story short, odd production for those 9 cards (which included stars Clark, Molitor, Piazza and Ivan Rodriguez) but no real value to either the Series 1 or 2 versions?
