Back at my parents place and going through boxes and boxes of cards from when I was younger.

Here are some odd balls. Anything you guys recognize? What about these caps, look like Topps.

So you know the inverted versions also have copies made missing the word refractor. I have one of griffey/bonds/jones/cruz

On the topic of cards missing the Refractor designation, I found these recently on COMC:

Marked a Refractor, definitely not one.

Clearly a Refractor (even has a refractor line!), not marked as one.

I raised the possibility earlier of everything from 1998 Finest having multiple possible variations based on the missing/extra R; could it be that most Topps products of the era have the same issue?

Those are Topps Coins, worthless cheap little metal discs they made 1987-90. Originally they came in 3 packs for 50¢ (or something like that), now Fairfield includes them in those cubes of crap they sell at Target.

Ha this made me laugh, sad but true (or part true). If only we looked at all cards and oddball items in this light. Not just cards being cardboard but people buying marbles, tops to icecream, magnets, etc. Somethings have value and I guess it's perceived value at the end of the day.

Anyways to close out my initial post for people who care, looks like I have a few years here. Top row says 1988 on back, middle 1989 and bottom which is just Puckett is 1990.

Fandruw25, I just saw all of your stuff listed on ebay. It sucks to see you getting out. Your Jones collection is amazing. If its more than you just got bored with it and wanted to move on, I hope it works out.
