yeah but not like the Yankees have over the years.

So, let me get this straight. The Yankees are at fault for spending money on free agents to better their team? Besides the fact that they have 3 big name free agents on their team right now, ARod, CC, and Texiera. Russell Martin, Ibanez, Chavez, Swisher and Kurota were hardly blockbuster signings. Jeter, Cano, Nova, Robertson, Hughes, Chamberlain, Rivera etc are home grown and they got Granderson and Ichiro by trading prospects that they groomed. Oh, not to mention the factthat they have paid over 200 million in luxury taxes. But your right, I would much rather have a team do it the "right way" by nickel and diming it.

But what does that prove? They spent a ton of money and don't have a WS ring every year. That simply proves that money doesn't buy a championship.....let's not mention that they're only 4 games ahead of TB....ooops I guess I just mentioned it :cool:

i didnt say they were wrong. lol i just said they spend more money then everyone else on free agents.

I have no problem with someone saying something negative about the Yankees, but at least find something with some merit.
