I collect the occasional first/last serial number, jersey #, career HR total. For most cards, I'm not willing to pay much of a premium, but there are a few out there I would. One thing I like to do when I try to put together a serial numbered rainbow is to shoot for the same serialization for each of the parallels.

Here are a couple of favs.

I love this thread. Here are some of my heritage favs.

Scan10001-13.jpg

Landing this card made my 2011 heritage season!

Pulled just last month!

Pulled by myself at a walmart.

The best is when you not only pull a huge card of your favorite player, but when you pull his jersey # too. Back in 2007 I pulled a N43 autographed jersey
card of Ryan Howard. It was numbered to 15, a HUGE pull for me. Two years later I am sitting in the same supermarket parking lot in the EXACT same place
in my car busting 2011 Ginter and I pulled a Ryan Howard N43 game used jersey card....numbered...6/25.

Enjoyed seeing everyones "1/1's"

Grace wore #17. These are the ones that are numbered 17/X. Never counted them up before. Too many inserts to go through, so just the autos/gu:

My favorite Jersey Number accomplishment just got completed. All 4 variations of the 2003 Playoff Absolute Glass Plaques #17/X. I looked for the last one for 6 years and got it this month!

I am one of those collectors who will pay a premium to nab a jersey # card. I currently own 41 cards in my player pc numbered 11/xx or 11/*** and love grabbing periodic inserts of other players with jersey #.

I don't think you over paid at $10. I would have guessed it would have sold for triple that. I would be completely comfortable paying $25 for it.

Agreed, I would've paid $25 for that as well and tried to flip it. Nice get!
