Nice returns! I just did TTM for the first time this Spring Training and I do have to admit it kind of sucks when you see guys get returns from players that you never got anything back. Nice pickups though! I need to send out to some more players before the season ends.

I'm with you. This was my first ST as well. I sent out 49; 13 successes, 1 returned with a pre-print postcard (Jim Thome), and 1 with a price list (Miguel Cabrera). That puts me at a 26.5% success rate. I have seen people get successes from people I sent to as well, but I'll try again next year.

I did recently get in Ramon Hernandez and Devin Mesoraco came back last week. Most of the ones I sent were to current or former Reds.

I kind of went big for my first ST and tried to get bigger names. I wanted to send out some during the season but just never got around to it. I'm not sure if I will try with there only being a little over a month left in the season so I might just wait it out until next ST. I know next year though to send to some lesser players to get more successes back. I did think that I would get something from Pavano and Miller so those were a little disappointing.

I didn't know that about Thome, I will have to send one to him. I've gotten a bunch of the 2011 Topps Heritage Twins set done and still need Thome and would love to get that signed.

You won't get Hamilton back until Christmas-early January. He only signs in the offseason, so don't lose hope there.

Yeah I've heard that, that's why I'm still crossing my fingers on him. I've basically given up on the others though. It would be nice if for some reason I got one of them back, but I doubt it at this point. At least now I know for next year to keep trying for some of the bigger names, but I will also send out to guys who have a good return rate.

Today from Glaesmann in about a month, and McCullers in about 3 weeks. Was a little bummed at first about USA card being bubbled, but the 8x10 looks awesome.

Awesome! Do you ever do any 50/50's? I only ask because I would love to graph minor leaguers more often but being in MN there isn't any MLB affiliated teams within a few hours..

yea. I usually get extras too. Not too many, I usually tell the guys they can sign only what they want to sign. I am not a huge person on getting two pages worth of cards signed.

Yeah I'm usually the same way when I go to Twins games, but I know that major leaguers are probably different with that. I will bring 1, maybe 2 cards just in case but I hate the people that pull out 18 cards of one player and have them sign all of them.
