Is anyone seriously collecting these? I cannot believe I've never seen the Vizquel, despite seeing dozens and dozens available. I have to wonder how many are stuck in 10 cent boxes at your local VFW show. Ugh.

Until Beckett revises the pricing and/or info on these, people are going to think they're worthless, common parallels, not worth selling. On the other hand, I've pored through countless dime boxes and haven't seen a single copy of any Blue. Who knows if they even made all 1025 cards as Blues? Or maybe some never got packed out, or were sent back to UD when this product tanked?

Well, recently a Jeter sold for $79 and a Kemp sold for $30. They may still be well under the radar, but the cognoscenti will pay a premium for them. Even though it's a basic third-year card, that Felix sitting there at $50 is strangely tempting. Maybe next ebay bucks day.

It's rather odd UD decided to print the player's last name on the front of the card twice.

I somehow won this yesterday.I wasn't even expecting to win it, I guess Rangers fans aren't interested in his Brewers cards even if it is a RC logo card.

Awesome pickup! There was one of those COMC for the longest time for $5 that I almost grabbed after his good showing in the derby a few years back. At the time I think there was a Pujols checklist card on there for $10 too. This is just one of those sets that 10-15 years from now people will be getting all pumped up about snagging one like a certified gold. Maybe exaggerating a little but there'll be posts on these cards for a long time

Cruz is always overshadowed by Hamilton and Kinsler, among others. If it's never worth anything, then I'll gladly keep it in my collection. What did you get for trading Cruz then?Cardinals barely won the division that year, so the Brewers couldn't have been too far behind.Wish I would have seen that Pujols checklist.

Maybe I didn't get that great of a deal after all on the Carpenter and Cruz.Teixera, Dunn, and Guererro only brought $6.50 each.

Don't remember all the names involved but I'm pretty sure it was part of the deal that brought Cordero, Mench, and Graffanino(sp) to Milwaukee

You are partly right, Lee was also sent to the Rangers.Wasn't Cordero a good reliever for you, so you got something out of it?I found an article on it.Brewers apparently had several other OF prospects, so there was no room for Cruz anyway.

These are great looking cards in hand. I'm still searching for the Oswalt red /50.

This came in the mail yesterday. Is this the blue version, or did I just waste $4 on the base card?It looks like a blue background to me, I was just expecting a darker blue background.

Looks good from this picture.

Thanks for taking a look at it, I thought it was too.But for $4 it seemed too good to be true.Seller didn't list it as the blue version, and I didn't have any base to compare it to.
