I'm just excited we're less than a week away from college football.

Same here. Im more of an NFL fan but its nice to have a full day of football on Saturdays too. Even if its just background noise... its nice to have it.

Not gonna happen.

Two different classes of programs.
Thats just silly. Sorry.

In year one of Brady Hoke's Tenure they went 11-2 and won a BCS game with 3star talent leftover from RichRod. Now that they are actually recruiting I think the sky is the limit. It is ignorant to say that Michigan is not on the level of Alabama as a program. There are like 5-7 elite football programs out there. Alabama and Michigan are both included. Also, how did Alabama fare in their first year under Saban? It's all about the process and rebuilding. Id say that 11-2 is a damn good rebuilding year. this game is their chance to prove that they belong on a national level. They will not disappoint. I don't think they will win, but this game will not be easy, nor will it be a romp for Bama.

Michigan will be competing for national titles soon.

I wouldn't count out any Brady Hoke football team. His knack for motivating players and getting the most of them is probably second to none in the country.

Roster to Roster

Michigan is no where close to the talent level of Alabama

I don't see how this can even be debated.

It will be debated on the football field on Saturday night. How many times has a less talented team beaten a more talented team in college football? It certainly happens...

I don't think you can count out the experience factor as well. I don't care how many stars a kid has by his name....if he's never played/started in a college football game and his first game is against Michigan....thats going to cause some issues.

You also didn't debate about talent level, you debated on level of program. There are few programs on the level of Alabama, but Michigan is certainly one of them. I think Alabama is vastly overrated this year. They are a top 10 team, nothing better. It will be impossible to replace and replicate the same amount of success that they had last year. Too much experience lost. Those guys on Bama's D were so good last year because they all had AT LEAST a year of starting under their belts. Its just not the same this year.

You can't ever count out Senior Denard and Brady Hoke. Bama has had some injuries already that could have some effect. Nobody major but chipping away at their depth. It's the first game of the year, it'll come down to making adjustments qucikly and Michigan's coaches are pretty good at that.

To say Michigan doesn't have a chance is a little short sighted.

Michigan is 2-1 against Alabama. 2-0 against Florida. 20-5-1 against current SEC teams. 7-3 against SEC in Bowl Games. Playing Alabama is tough, but nothing new for Michigan.

I actually give Michigan a shot 'cuz Denard Robinson is that dangerous.

He's the kinda, scary-good player that you can't simulate in practice or scheme for and those kinda players, especially in college, can win a game for a team with less Overall talent.

Throw in the Tides' inexperience and an upset is possible IMO...

Not related really, but did anyone else think the kid on the Left in that video looks a helluva lot like a younger Tom Brady?

He's known in the Michigan blog community as Lloyd Brady. He usually gets on TV at least once or three times every time Michigan is on TV.
