Wherever this proof might be, if actually produced on cardboard, would be enough to retire on.
I have that in cardboard form. Its from an Anahiem show and is a blankback promo.
I have to ask, what it run you?
Does anyone have an idea of the rarity and/or method of distribution for the 1996 Stadium Club Pre-Production cards? Some listed on ebay have a high BIN, but this Lofton can be had for $1.50, for example:

I think what's really puzzling me is why Beckett does not recognize them (unless I'm overlooking it).
Is that a complete checklist, though?
As far as I can tell, that's it. Beckett does a poor job cataloging the 90's SC PPs, they miss almost all of the 1998 and 1997 sets, and do not even list PP sets existing for 1995 or 1996 (yet they do list a 1993 set).
These are NOT rare. The entire set (4 or 6 cards) came cello wrapped and inserted with product info and order forms to each dealer in the hobby network. I recall the shop I worked at getting ours and used to see the sealed packs all over places like Frank and Sons, Burbank Sportscards, etc. The same process of distribution for Topps/Bowman/Stadium Club pre-production sets during the late 90s and early 00s.
Pre-production unofficial rundown:
1996 Bowman - distributed in product order forms unmarked, using gold foil for names, fairly tough to locate as they mixed into collections, quarter bins, etc.
1996 Stadium Club - see above
1996 Topps - distributed in 1995 factory sets which were produced in lesser quantities due to the strike.
1996 Topps Gallery - distributed in product order forms, unmarked with subtle text/bio differences on back, fairly rare.
1996 Topps Laser - distributed in product order forms, unmarked with subtle differences in foil brushing (Mark Grace only?), fairly rare.
1997 Bowman - distributed in product order forms packets, somewhat hard to find, Jose Cruz, Andruw Jones and one other.
1997 Finest - distributed in product order forms, very common.
1997 Stadium Club - distributed in product order forms, very common.
1997 Topps - distributed in 1996 factory sets, don't see them too often but can be found with a little searching.
1998 Bowman - inserts in 1998 Stadium Club
1998-2004 Topps Products - Various - mostly distributed in product order forms, mostly fairly common, all have PP prefix with the exception of 1998 Tek.
Does anyone know where I can find the 1993 Diamondmarks Promo Ken Griffey Jr.? Been looking for a long time. I have the Will Clark....not sure when or where I got that one.
Thanks!
1996 Bowman was Bagwell, Roberto Alomar and George Arias (maybe Paul Wilson too?). 1996 Gallery was Dave Justice, Jay Buhner and Ramon Martinez. 1997 Bowman was Jose Cruz Jr, Andruw Jones and I'm not sure of the "vets." 1996 Topps Pre-Production was Frank Thomas, Hideo Nomo, Chipper Jones, Rafael Bournigal, Cal Ripken Jr, Fred McGriff, Barry Bonds, Thomas Howard as well as one other. 1997 has Rickey Bottalico, Craig Biggio, Derek Jeter, Mike Piazza and the others escape me at the moment.
