To be fair McAllister was a minor league pitcher yesterday throwing some meatballs up there, almost half of the Rangers had a dinger against him in only 5IP, he gave up 11 hits.

But it will be interesting to see what Profar does the next few years.

So? Ricky Romero couldn't get out of the 2nd yesterday and he's a 'staff ace'. MLB pitching is MLB pitching.

I say he's juicing

Took the family to Sunday's (9/2) game. Even as an Indians fan - I (we) had a great time. Several great defensive plays, 5 HRs (including Hamilton) - and of course - Profar's dinger. Appeared less than 15k in attendance, but most seemed to be aware of his first AB HR. I know I was standing up to applaud. Fun to see his reaction and that of his teammates. The Rangers are a fun bunch to watch. With a 2B on his second AB, I was waiting for history to be made. He hit the ball hard his final 3 ABs, but no cycle. Enjoyed the moment.

That's really surprising there was only 15000 there for a first place team on a weekend.I know the Texas heat is tough there, but Rangers are still a World Series caliber team.

The game was in Cleveland, not Texas.
The Rangers have near sell-outs at home on the weekends.
