Anyone have any good experiences buying any of these? My buddy bought a few MLB ones a few years back, they looked OK for the price. The sizes were off I guess, XL was more like a large. Anyone know if that's the case with these and recommend any particular site? $100 is just too much for a screen printed jersey in my opinion. Thanks!

I've bought a half dozen or so from this site. Yeah, buy them a size bigger than you normally would.

Only problem is that they tend to have random threads that you can trim, normally on the nameplate.

Other than that, never had a problem getting them.

I wouldn't get them if you're going to get them autographed and framed or anything, but they're fine for wearing around, and definitely better when you can get 2 of them for the price of a replica, or 6-8 for the price of an authentic.

just search ebay and you can find authentic jerseys for 40-50 bucks with everything sown on. I just bought a couple reebok ones with tags still on for 40 apiece.

I am curious, why would you not get them autographed? I have thought about it before, so any info would be nice.

Just my personal preference. I'm kind of OCD. If I am going to spend the money on paying for a good autograph, I'd go ahead and get an authentic one to frame and display.

These ones are fine for wearing around, or even playing backyard football in, but If I'm paying money for a player to do a signing, I'll shell out money for the authentic jersey to go with it.

The ones from that site are all sewn on as well. Just have the basics though: name, number, team...They don't have any special patches or anything that might be on a specific year jersey.

I bought a throwback of DeSean a few years ago from Tarajersey. It got here really quickly and they have signature confirmation so you'll probably have to go to the PO to pick it up. I just got it signed in April when he was here for the Fitz softball game :-)

I don't like to wear jerseys really but do like to get them signed. There's one site I wanted to try but can't remember the name because the jerseys were around 20 a piece but their shipping was high plus you had to pay for insurance.

For basketball I like to just get the Swingman ones to get signed. Then baseball I've heard players won't sign the knock offs but I'm sure a lot don't care. I think one of the players was Justin Verlander.

Good luck in your search

Just got a Ray Lewis jersey the other day from one of those sites. It's pretty sick! Got the Nike logos, sewn on name and numbers and team logo. Can't beat that for 33 bucks.

They aren't bad, but you get what you pay for, as they aren't nearly as nice as a true authentic. If it's a local team, check the local stores for discounted Reebok authentics. I just bought a Reebok authentic LaMarr Woodley jersey last week at a local store for $145, much better than the original $295 price tag!!!

Exactly. They are sewn, but they aren't anywhere near as nice as authentics. But for wearing around, I'm not paying a ton.

And being a Ravens fan in Pittsburgh, I sure as heck ain't finding anything local!

Honestly don't remember, haven't bought any this year yet. (Still need an Ed Reed jersey!)

They have an online customer service link, you could ask them before you put in your order.

These sites are nice but you need to be careful. I've placed 2 fairly large orders (40-50 jerseys per order) and while most jerseys look excellent you will run into some that don't. For example in my last order I received 3 really bad jerseys.

1) Joey Votto jersey where they used a "Y" instead of a "V" so it said "Yotto" on the back.

2) Brandon Phillips jersey which was disgustingly dirty and had an very bad stitch job.

3) David Freese jersey where the name and number on the back were way off center.

I have attached pictures so you can see. I have also received a couple wrong jerseys, I ordered a home jersey and revived an away jersey. If you do run into issues chances are the company with not be very helpful in getting the issue resolved. They wanted me to pay to send these jerseys back even though it was their mistake. I had to file a PayPal claim and they had my back. They gave me a full refund and didn't make me rerun anything.

So while I would recommend ordering these jerseys as you can beat the price. You are you going to get what you pay for and may have a problem here or there. Just make sure you pay with PayPal as they will cover you should anything happen.

I bought a Michael Irvin Mitchell and Ness throwback, and the tag on the bottom of the front said "Emmitt Irvin". I cut the stitches and removed it, and you can't tell it was ever there, and I'm quite happy with my $25 purchase. Sure, an authentic is much nicer, but I'll never pay that much for a piece of clothing. Give me the knock off for the same price the NFL guys charge for a regular t-shirt.
