Newb BGS Grading Question

So I shipped a few baseball cards for grading for the first time ever. I sent the package with DC so I could track it and it says it was delivered to Beckett today.

My question is, when I go on Beckett's website I cant find the order I placed electronically anywhere? I printed off the slip that contained the submission id and that does not show under my account. So does nothing show up until after the cards have been graded? This might be a dumb question but am just curious on what's going on and why it wont show up when I log in?

Also I chose the 10 day service so that does mean that these cards have to be graded on or before the 14th correct, since they received the package today?

These days, BGS doesn't update your account page with the shipment details until a few days before the grades go live. If you used 10-day, it'll probably go up around Day 7 or so.

If they received your package today, Day 10 would be on 9/18, as weekends don't count.

Thanks bud that makes sense about the weekends, did not factor that in. Thanks for the info, I was stressed something was wrong since my order wasn't showing up.

Ten or whatever day service starts when they get it.

Its business days, no weekends, holidays or shipping is counted.

Sorry to bump this thread, but its now day 7 and my CC has not even been billed yet? There is no order info online still. Should I be worried and call them or just wait another day?

You are not going to be billed until your order is complete and the package is ready to be shipped back to you. You already know that your package has been delivered, so relax a little your cards will be fine.

Alright. It's my first time sending in anything so I just want nothing to go wrong. I don't think you need to tell me to relax, I can be as uptight about it as I want. Thanks for the reply.

I'd be worried. There was a BGS scam not to long ago that was a false address and hundreds of cards came up missing.

Actually, it's Day 6.

According to your OP, your cards were received on the 4th, which does not count as Day 1.

The 5th, 6th, 7th, 10th, 11th and 12th do count, making this the 6th day.

DO NOT CONTACT THEM. I was faced with the same dilemma last month, though mine was a 20-day order I think. I contacted them, and they said it had been received and would be completed by the guaranteed date, but that they had been overloaded with orders so they weren't getting them updated online as early as they usually do. Then, I get my order and they gave me all 9.5s instead of 10s, and 2 of my cases were cracked as well!
