Last two Arods, one sold $1400 with the Mirror Red and Blue......and I think the other gold sold $950ish.

The Jr, if hits ebay at auction, will cross $2K and maybe 3.

I must have missed the listing by less than 5 minutes.

I would've expected that. Admittedly I wasn't looking for couple years when things were tough and I cut my spending. I will do whatever I have to within reason to grab the next one that pops up.

I have a list of 6 people searching for that card to own and several others looking for the card so they can flip it.

Only the baseball and hockey collectors truly appreciate these, but I'm putting the football set together.

I must be the only one who thought the 98 Pinnacle Totally Certified Platinum Golds /30 were selling WAY too cheap. These cards aren't even supposed to exist, are limited to only 30 numbered sets, and the three Pettittes I now have cost me $30 or less each?!?!?! I used to dream of owning just one card from this set; now I have 8/10 for the set just because the cards are too cheap to pass up.

That dude totally saturated his own market. He also did it with his Hitting Machines Gold Medallions. I can only assume he just didn't want to screw around with it and/or he just needed some quick bucks.

I agree with you - I ended up buying 4 Larkins from him. I now own 5 of them. just couldn't pass them up at that price. Figured I would send them in for grading and maybe pull a PSA 10 out of it :)
