I don't gamble Brian, and it's not my arse on the line here. Just show us the proof & your arse will be off the hook. Not by email Brian, in public, right here.

"Double or nothing..."

then

"I don't gamble..."

I always knew you were an idiot. Why don't you put your membership here on the line? I'm all about calling people out, and I have trashed BG plenty in the past.. but I'd not make a bet and then immediately back out. How about , if he proves you wrong - IP ban?

But you forgot to provide video of you destroying the card! Unacceptable! That could be any card....we want proof!

Yeah! How do we know thats not photoshopped?

And I want to see the scissor you used to cut it AND a statement from witnesses OUTSIDE of leaf (not leaf employees obviously) that the scissor used is the actual one.

Well said Bill. Leaf is offering a nice variety and unique products to the hobby. Nobody is making anyone buy them. But man some people here just want nothing more than to see them fail. Any little mistake made by them is some grand conspiracy to doom the card world. You would think BG is some guy on FBI most wanted list. Just small guy fighting to make it in card world going against companies 10X his size and fairing very well.

Thanks for the kind words with one correction:A

Actually, in sales (estimated):
topps is 5x leaf
panini is 4 x leaf
Upper deck 3.5x leaf

But, in profits:
topps is 5x leaf
leaf is > Panini
Leaf is > upper deck

I'm a full time dealer that cares about the hobby. I've never screwed a single customer in 22 years of business. I despise unlicensed cards, scammers, & those that threaten my industry in any way. I hate seeing collectors getting screwed. I'm also a BGS Grading Dealer. And I ain't scared of you BG.

So you're saying that you have an ulterior motive to try your best and discredit BG/Leaf's reputation in order to protect your own interests. Duly noted.

I agree with you here BG - I don't even bother filling out 500 card submissions. It just takes too long!

You know boblaw for someone who is supposedly an attorney you think you would be the first one to approve of someone protecting their rights against libel. I guess if someone started unfounded rumors about your legal practice, that you forge legal documents, have Backdoor deals with judges and con clients out of their money you would be okay with that or wouldn't take legal action, even if it means losing clients and possibly your practice? I know everything thinks these rumors and accusations are no big deal but they definitely damage a reputation and financially hurt a company and I for one would be for legal action against these idiots.

Well, there's your strike one. I'm not supposedly an attorney. Strike two, truth is an absolute defense to libel/slander. Strike three, I don't see anyone claiming that Brian Gray has forged any document, or has any backdoor deals, or cons anyone out of money. At least, not in this thread.

I'm sure you've heard the saying, "any publicity is good publicity". In this hobby, it's true. One can say plenty of negative things against Topps and UD, but it certainly hasn't hurt their business with consumers. If there were no negative threads at all, or any criticism of the Leaf product, they wouldn't have the exposure they do. ANd, assuredly, BG will come here spouting figures about how rich he is (oh wait, look, there they are), and how every product sells out, so they don't "definitely damage a reputation and financially hurt a company" because Mr. Gray cannot prove any damages whatsoever by any alleged slanderous or libelous statement.

You had a lot more than 5 cards when I witnessed your sub. You are a pompous SOB going around making bets, a sign of a liar. Just think, a chick from Toronto busted your a$$ on this.

This thread is just one giant fail.

People need to calm down. No one likes an e-thug. Instead of throwing around baseless accusations, why not get the facts first? The guy comes on and explains exactly what happened in a completely logical way that makes perfect sense, this thread should be over.

And BG, c'mon man. Part of owning a company is handling both positive and negative criticism. You go around threatening legal action for libel in every other thread you post in, but you seem to be forgetting that this is an internet message board, people are going to say things you disagree with. It makes you and your company look terrible when you threaten the very people who buy your products. If you can't be professional enough to take the high road, then just don't post anymore.

Offer up free pulls in an upcoming Leaf Metal giveway, and the searing hatred for BG magically vanishes. At least until someone finds something new to villify him about. As evidenced by the OP.

Things I learned from this thread:
1) The OP is a troll, plain and simple, to make a post and not post again is the tell tale sign he/she/it is from Blowhard Forums.
2) Brian obviously submits thousands upon thousands of cards to BGS. Rejected cards (that dont meet Brian's 9 standard) are put up for resale.
3) BGS will only GRADE an Auto, not AUTHENTICATE it on a pack issued card, so its a moot point to accuse Brian of knowingly selling a pack issued card with a fake auto on it.
4) To call Brian an Liar, Thief, Scumbag, et al is totally unfair.
5) Allstar (Warren I believe) is a double talking trolling ******. "Im betting Brian wont show proof" then Brian takes that bet, and Allstars says Im not a gambler. Simply go away after Brian proves the card was submitted and rejected.
6) Brian lays his reputation and company on the line continuously in this forum. That may ultimately be his downfall, but I respect the guy for coming in here to defend his product the way he does. I bet if someone would have notified Brian, before notifying eBay of the listing, he would have pulled it. But nope, you go to Blowhard Forums and see that the masses all just outright accused Brian of knowingly selling a fake Harper, without the proof that Brian bought the original card, had the bad auto removed, had it resigned not by Harper, then put it up in his OWN eBay account to resell. Yup, that makes a ton of sense!!!

Actually, it seems like someone acting with integrity if they are willing to admit how they feel negatively about certain aspects but willing to offer support on situations they feel is wrong. Just because someone doesn't like Leaf or BG, it doesn't mean they have to blindly hate on EVERYTHING involving Leaf or BG.

I don't understand that type of classification. It's like politics. People will hate stuff from the opposing party just for the sake of hating them. Believe it or not - intelligent people are well able to separate themselves from their feelings to take individual stands on different situations.
