Fact though; through 161 games he has played 160......but sitting out today would lose him MVP votes/respect even with his track record.

Can Miggy really afford to sit today?

I mean, Hamilton is only 1 homer behind him, and he can hit multiples in a game. If Miggy were to sit and Hamilton hits two homeruns, or even one, there are going to be some very unhappy fans.

Texas and LAA have the early games while the Tiggers play later.......yes he can sit/watch and enjoy or sweat.

I'm glad he's playing. Mauer has no shot at the batting title now so I would like to see him get the triple crown. Even if he is a tigger. It hasn't been done for over 40 years so who doesn't like seeing history be made?

In 67 yaz was tied with killebrew in homeruns, when was the last time a triple crown winner had sole posession of each catagory? I think frank robinson won the triple crown in 66, but not sure if he had sole posession

Killebrew Was up on Yaz in Homeruns I believe and the second to last game Yaz Blasted one to tie.

Yes Frank Robinson did and Won it being 10 Homeruns ahead of Killebrew that year.
