As an Orioles fan, I'm pretty disappointed with Topps Update checklist

Boxed wine and Mr. Bubble for me. I've taken more bubble baths this year than any other year ever in my existence ...

Here's an idea. Topps could make a roster update set at the end of the year that they sell online through their website. Include every player who made the MLB roster who doesn't have a base set or Update card. Lots of team collectors and Topps set collectors would buy it, in my opinion.

Best set EVER!! except that it wouldn't sell at all. There wouldn't be enough 'value' for the casebreakers and sadly there aren't enough collectors anymore to actually support such a product. I would LOVE to see it though - every player should have a card. Poor Adam Rosales....

Something similar to UD Documentary would be cool. Documentary screwed up by putting 20-25 of each player from each team. Why not make a set where you have a card for each member of that made an appearance for each team.

In the case of Steve Pearce, he would have 3 cards in the set - one for the Orioles, Yankees, and Astros. In the end, you could have about a 2,000 card set to put together, which would be fun. Each card could have a gold parallel (one per pack) and maybe another color parallel #'d to 10 or less.

As a Royals fan, I'm incredibly disappointed. Only 4 cards in the base set and 3 no longer play for the team. Billy Butler (with an All-Star card) is the only guy who is still with the Royals. Jonathan Broxton, Jose Mijares, and Yuniesky Betancourt are long gone. I was okay with Mijares being in there since he didn't have a Royals card yet (and to be fair him and Betancourt were on the team til around mid August). Topps missed about 5 MLB debuts and another 5 or 6 new Royals. It did save me some money, however, since I was going to buy a few boxes and then drive 6 hours to KC for the last couple games of the season to get them autographed but scrapped that idea when I saw the checklist.
