Hey dont make fun of the power of the ephus pitch, I have gotten high school players to swing and miss with it. I can throw it very effectively, it really pisses people who swing and miss off. I have also thrown it for strike 3 at the top of the zone. It is an awesome pitch if you can get the arc just right. I started throwing it as a joke and my coach let me throw it in 3 games that I pitched in. Its only been hit twice of the 12 times ive thrown it and one was a line out, the other was a bomb.
