Making a 57% in the class Haha. I have got one of my friends that is tutoring me a little. Somehow a freshman level math class is the hardest ive had to do lol. If I fail the class I don't get to play baseball because of the new ihsa standards. If you have 6 core classes and fail 1 you are ineligible.

you need 4% that is nothing in the grand scheme.......if you need some other help let me know.

Just got done playing racquetball. First time I've played with the rules in place. Its actually more fun playing with the rules rather than just hitting it as hard as we could when we would go to the YMCA when I was younger

I better get started on my paper.

I am also going to study my moral theories, there is probably a good 6-7 of them. Anyone know a good way to do this? I was thinking of making some flash cards and quizzing myself on them.

Good afternoon gentlemen!

Taylor, I remember you saying something about looking into learning how to do some quality framing yourself. Ever make any progress with that? I've been thinking about it myself as it would save tons of money.

George I will be sure to ask if I need help. This class has a mandatory final which is 15-20% of the grade, which is my biggest worry for the class right now and its not for another 2 months (sometime in december). I do all of the work and ask questions so that should help me with the teacher.

I have actually. Last week I met up with a local artist that sometimes cuts matting for her work. She loaned me a CD that gives info on different mat cutters and gave me a short tutorial on how to use the one she had. I am currently trying to find a unit to purchase so I can start framing my own collection and working for craft stores

Nice! I've looked around the web at how-to's and different tools you can use and whatnot. Doesn't seem to be too terribly difficult if you practice, have the right tools, and take your time with it. What's your take on it?

Im currently in my Graphics Class but the teacher is not here so we are not allowed to run or cut anything, so I am stuck being bored. I am playing with Excel for a couple different lists haha. So this may actually be good

I love math (and science) but suck at teaching/tutoring...

I once tried to tutor a hot college gal in math but she kept playing footsies with me...that made me forget what math is.

I like science, but I'm not cutout for the college classes. Granted I should probably have studied more, I wasn't a huge fan of the science department after having some of the teachers

The actual cutting doesn't look difficult, but the measuring, squaring, and being exact all look difficult. I was told that over and under cutting is a no-no.

Yeah, that's what I figured. You've got to be VERY exact with it. Definitely seems like a good skill to have, though. I've got some 8x10s, index cards, posters that I want framed up, but just can't bring myself to take them somewhere and pay out of the ass to get them done. If you find any other tips, hints, etc., would you let me know? I'll be sure to do the same as I look around at stuff.

Well the offer stands if you need it.

Will do!

I did learn about self-healing matting, so if you over-cut, it heals itself but it's probably much more expensive.
