Hows it going G?
Making a 57% in the class Haha. I have got one of my friends that is tutoring me a little. Somehow a freshman level math class is the hardest ive had to do lol. If I fail the class I don't get to play baseball because of the new ihsa standards. If you have 6 core classes and fail 1 you are ineligible.
Good afternoon gentlemen!
Taylor, I remember you saying something about looking into learning how to do some quality framing yourself. Ever make any progress with that? I've been thinking about it myself as it would save tons of money.
Nice! I've looked around the web at how-to's and different tools you can use and whatnot. Doesn't seem to be too terribly difficult if you practice, have the right tools, and take your time with it. What's your take on it?I have actually. Last week I met up with a local artist that sometimes cuts matting for her work. She loaned me a CD that gives info on different mat cutters and gave me a short tutorial on how to use the one she had. I am currently trying to find a unit to purchase so I can start framing my own collection and working for craft stores
I am a fan of Kemp. But I also like Alter Bridge.![]()

Yeah, that's what I figured. You've got to be VERY exact with it. Definitely seems like a good skill to have, though. I've got some 8x10s, index cards, posters that I want framed up, but just can't bring myself to take them somewhere and pay out of the ass to get them done. If you find any other tips, hints, etc., would you let me know? I'll be sure to do the same as I look around at stuff. The actual cutting doesn't look difficult, but the measuring, squaring, and being exact all look difficult. I was told that over and under cutting is a no-no.
George I will be sure to ask if I need help. This class has a mandatory final which is 15-20% of the grade, which is my biggest worry for the class right now and its not for another 2 months (sometime in december). I do all of the work and ask questions so that should help me with the teacher.
