apparently you all have never seen the Prothro injury. THAT was nasty.
Seen it. Obviously bad since it ended his career, but that doesn't minimize the Lattimore one

That was NOTHING compared to the Napoleon McCallum injury, that the most gruesome injury that I've ever seen.

Because they aren't nearly as good as Alabama. Even if you don't think Mississippi St. is that good, they were undefeated and ranked #11. Bama held them to one garbage TD and won 38-7.

Because the two squads aren't even close.
Alabama is a dominant force in college football and notre dame is having a good year. Two totally different scenarios.
Lou holtz wouldn't put nd over bama.

I have been waiting a looooooong time for a season like this out of ND and I am thoroughly enjoying every minute of it.
Easy to be 7-0 against a 1-AA, 3 sun belts, Kentucky, Auburn, and Tennessee is a decent win.
As of right now I think K State has the best resume of all the undefeateds

He's a guard who started with the Kings, went to Houston and just got traded to OKC. He's at least as good as Harden IMO and could put up really nice numbers...
And great win by ND, but not good enough to get them past #4 IMO...

I don't think ND is that good. Yes they're having a good season, but the "good" teams they've beaten all now have at least 2 losses. I don't think ND would match up well against a team with great team speed, especially on defense. Their big test will be against USC, but by then USC might have 3 or 4 losses. They're definitely not in the same class as Alabama and Oregon. Just look at the similar opponent Michigan. Alabama absolutely destroyed Michigan. ND beat Michigan 13-7. I don't think ND could beat any of the SEC teams ranked in the top 10 today.
