Working on a 1956 Topps set. About 1/3rd of the way there. Being picky about the card. Don't want mint, but don't want beaters either. Trying to stick to EX-MT condition regarding corners, surface, edges. Being more generous with the centering. Positively NO creases anywhere in the card. I know this is a matter of preference to folks. For me, I like the cleaner looking off-centered cards than I do the centered and banged up corner ones.

It is the only vintage set I've got going. I have a ton of Bowman & Bowman Chrome from 1997 and up in the works. If anyone wants to trade, hit me up. I have tons of base from Bowman products to trade.

Here is a sample of the 56 conditions I'm looking for:

Finishing up 1971 Topps. Only need Clemente, and then my run from 1971 through 2012 will be complete. Slowing working on 1953 Topps. That is about it right now.

What ever happened to Scottapotomous?
He had a nearly complete T206 set. He was about 90% finished.

Although not nearly as exciting as everyone else's sets, I'd like to finish off the 2012 Gypsy Queen base set. I'm probably missing maybe 25 or fewer base cards. Of the current generation of cards, the 2012 GQ set is by far my favorite.

got a nice envelope full of beaters from an OBC friend today. The '69 football set is done (last card was Tarkenton), the '70 football list got hit with a Namath (leaving just two more), a single hit to the '70 baseball list (leaving eight), and eight huge high number hits to the '72 list. I never thought I'd see the day when the '72 list was down to single digits. :D

2001 Topps Gallery....the only set I ever want/wanted to build, bought a hobby box back in 01' but I stopped collecting for awhile...been trying to grab the pujols and ichiro rookie from this set but keep getting out bid on eBay....I'll probably buy a box online and buy singles at the next big card show in the Bay Area, ca

Neverending: '55 Bowman, '41 Play Ball, '10 Exquisite. I keep thinking I'd like to start another PSA set, maybe something from the '50s in 7+.

Mine aren't anything great. No vintage for me since I can't really afford that right now. But I'm working on 2008 Ginter (including state cards), 2009 Ginter (including National pride and highlight sketches), 2011 Finest (only need Trout), and 2012 Ginter minis. I get caught up on my other PC stuff that I never get around to working on the sets

I would love to tackle any of the Redman chewing tobacco sets or the Red Heart dog food set in Psa 7 but the are currently beyond my budget.

I've thought about that too. The cards are gorgeous. If I do it, they'd be raw low grade cards, most without tabs of course, to keep prices low.

I have two autographed Red Mans from '50s Yankees that I sent to them through the mail:

I'm a modern collector - the Bowman and Topps sets. Topps Chrome - still need #174 from 2012. And working on the international Bowman parallels. Finished 2011, and still need about 20 from 2012. At some point I might look into going back and working on previous Bowman international sets.
