People sell wax from time to time, so I would assume it is okay. If they are single packs, I wouldn't make any guarantees as to if there are any hits in them.

I would never by loose packs from some random guy on a message board.
How are we to know the person who owned the box didn't get the hit, and is now selling the extra packs that have zero chance of getting something good?

I like opening packs.

I don't so much care about the hits.

How do you know the person got a hit? Someone could have bought 10 packs, went home, and opened them there. Then somone could have brough 6 packs and went home. ect ect

Oh, I love opening packs too. Everyone does. But you should not pay anywhere near full value for loose packs, whether you care about hits or not, unless they're sold by someone you trust, like Andrew or a couple of other guys on this board.

The price of packs is set by the chance of a high value hit. If there is no chance for a hit, because the seller got the hit from that box, the price of the remaining packs should be reduced substantially.

No, I wouldn't pay full price for them.

I don't know. That's my point. Why would I buy loose packs from a total stranger, when there's a chance he pulled the hit from the box and then sold the remaining packs?

So, instead of your answer being something like, "I can get sealed boxes at a good price and want to pack them out here." Your answer is basically that you buy loose packs from somewhere at regular price, and you want to pass them off here? If you're buying them loose, randomly, just like anyone else at a store, why would you want to sell them here, I'm assuming cheaper?

I can see this going well.

Realistically, I see no more risk here than buying packs from open boxes in random stores. You never know if the hit is there unless the owner discloses it. If you're that worried, buy sealed boxes. Some people like the shot at just opening packs.
