The Blue Jays have agreed to sign Melky Cabrera to a two-year, $16MM contract, Enrique Rojas of ESPNdeportes.com reports. ACES represents Cabrera, who must pass a physical for the deal to be completed.

It's easy to look at that division and say that it's wide open. Good for them for building. Hope it falls short when they play Boston but otherwise good for them.

Given that he was busted this year, it is a safe assumption that he was taking them either this year or in 2011, which just so happen to have been his two best years.

Of course there is mixing and matching. But can you imagine if Bautista hits 40 HR and Lind/Encarnacion hit 30 HR? Lots of runs with Reyes and Cabrera #1/2
