I couldn't afford the dual so I got one of each of the solos for less than half the cost of the dual. That and I don't have to worry about the Mantle being forged. If you do your homework though, it's not too tough to make sure you get a legit dual if that's what you're after.

I guess I'm the minority, but the Mantle/Griffey is one of the ugliest cards ever made.

My vote goes to the 1993 SP Derek Jeter rookie card. The best rookie card of the greatest icon of the 90's - 00's era.

It's not on your list but for me it's the Reggie Jackson UD Heroes autograph. That card changed the hobby and opened the gates for what we have today.

Definitely the 1993 SP Jeter rookie.
It's the most valuable, popular and iconic card of the most famous player in baseball.
It's not the most expensive '90s card, but it's the most iconic because it's not some obscure parallel or error like some listed in this thread.

1990 Topps NNOF Frank Thomas will be by far the most valuable card ever issued in the 90's not involving autos or game used crap. The fact it is a HOF player's RC just gives it more mystique. I think it will hit 10K in the next 5 to 10 years.
