I'm asking only to understand this, you can accuse of being a Leaf Basher/Hater all you want, I would be the same to the other manufacturers if they pulled this same stuff.
Why would you license a direct competitor? What if I was planning on ordering a case of Leaf Draft, but now I see this brand new company with all new technology, and now I decide I don't want the Leaf product anymore? In fact, I'm only going to buy Rize from here on out. Aren't you putting your self at risk by allowing another companies to enter the non licensed draft market? Also, how do the players feel about their images and so forth being controlled by you? Did their agents approve this?

If you wish to speak by phone that is fine, otherwise Im not going to argue on a message board.. I am happy to call you on my dime... PM your number if you want the facts (and not just to argue for sport).. BG

It's not my product to worry about... BG

Yet it has YOUR company's name on it. lol Come on, man. You made money on the product and your company's name is on the cards, therefore you and your brand name are forever connected to the product. This is like saying that sellers can't put "Topps" in a listing title for a Bowman product. Of course they can.

So would it be wrong to state in an auction Rize, manufactured by Leaf....since it was made by Leaf why couldn't this fly?

Yes, in the description it can say that it is from Rize (manufactured under a licensing relationship with Leaf)..

Not in the title, however...

How am I arguing BG?
Not once have been argumentative here. I'm sure I am not the only one wondering why you licensed a direct competitor.

I wonder why BG didn't tell everyone that they couldn't use Razor in the titles of their FCB cards. I'm assuming this is literally the same thing, legally speaking.

No, the FCB cards were made directly by me to be distributed by FCB...

These are made by a new company who is selling the cards solely FOR PROFIT under their branding...

So you have exclusives with these players? Or did you just charge less for the derivative rights than they would charge under a deal,of their own?

Did you have to license topps for using Sam Selman as well?

And with the Leaf name on the cards. Your company's connection to these cards is 100% undeniable. It's ON THE CARDS. Sorry man, I like you and your company, but you are striking out here on this ebay listing title debacle.

No... We manufacture cards under our license to their specs and brand it much like private label (store brands)..

I am not denying any involvement, I am forcing the parties who acquired them to sell them under the terms of my contract which prohibit Rize from implying endorsement or implying ownership (heck even you guys were confused so you can see why we said such).. BG

Am I the only person that finds it funny that the thread on page 1 regarding the non-serial numbered/backdoored superfractors from Topps is only 2 pages long yet there are 9 pages of Leaf bashing for a product that supposedly everybody hates and will never buy? The double standard from some on these boards is astounding. If it's Topps, ignore it. If it's Leaf, fire away. Luckily for BG the people that complain and hurl insults the most are often times the people that spend little to nothing on Leaf products.

Do you think the issue with the superfractors is an issue where Topps is handing out cards or if its an issue with their printer?

This thread is asking what i think are valid questions...
