Has anyone been following topps on Twitter. Some of these cards are just amazing.

I think the design is fresh, which is something that is very welcome this year. Still frustrated with Topps' crush on parallels to inflate their print runs. Too many parallels for me to chase of my PC guy in every Topps set this year.

still, good looking cards so far.

I've been checking out the tweets of the pics. Not really a fan of this product at all.

I did pick up 2 blasters...save your money.

Haven't checked out what the hobby version looks like, but these scream "cheap retail version" to me.

I've always hated the Playoff (in the old days) and Panini retail versions of their more expensive hobby sets, and the fact that Topps has started to adopt that same tactic with some of their sets is kind of disappointing.

I'd much rather get a lesser quantity per pack of the same product sold in hobby shops than some inferior version that looks like a knockoff.

This. Same crap with Prime also with barely discernible parallel cards. I'm gonna buy a few singles from eBay just to see what they look like. Some of the more fancy cards I saw posted on Facebook did look pretty cool and should be popular with player collectors. The die cut cards caught my eye as well.

I'd have to agree, the retail I've opened has been nothing but junk. I did hit a shield looking card in both boxes, but they both were damaged really bad, almost like they were put in a meat grinder.

Not the ones I have opened. I opened 3 and got absolutely nothing but base cards and 1 even had a lot of doubles in the blaster.

After getting 2 for Christmas, I agree, I got nothing but an RG3 base rookie.
