No way Topps ever even intended to produce the signed balls. And I bet if you ask Rawlings about it they'd have no idea what you're talking about.

Why are people so interested in what the ball would look like? I figured from the beginning (and Topps has confirmed via Twitter) that they would be the Rawlings gold balls from the home run derby (used after the ninth out for each player). Just google home run derby gold ball. That being said, I strongly agree that this was a stated promotion, not a redemption, and a case of Archives is just absurd.

He blocked me, I win by default!! Just like on Beckett boards, he knows he doesn't have a leg to stand on, so he just does what he can to silence me. Chris Olds is the most worthless POS in cards. Big podium, big microphone, no spine to address rampant problems. Just positive review after positive review

Why does Mays have to sign first? I am guessing he would figure out the Aaron and Griffey are signing the ball too...

According to Topps...it is for the integrity of the ball due to his vision issues. I guess so he does not sign over someone else.

MansGame You want to go to the effort of chasing this? Topps just sent this, I think I shamed them into doing something about it. I know you don't know the guy, but your LCS owner does.

I don't think this is the case. I think they didn't explore the feasibility, then ran into a roadblack and instead of adapting to the circumstances, they gave up. Now they'll just let collectors waiting on these items wait as long as they're willing and then just send them sh1+ replacements.

I can try and chase this down...... I'll need to go through the LCS owner but I know he knows the guy because I guess he shops there all the time, etc.

But first, I thought they said they had sent cases to someone because they didn't want to wait? So now they're changing their story? I'm really confused but am also not following this on Twitter.

This was their actual quote, they could have been referring to someone else that was offered something different.
