Another thing, if it is legit as Te'o said, who was the person he talked to "every night" and "fell asleep talking to"?

If it was a prank played by Ronniah, who was the person he talked to? It couldnt have been a family member or mutual friend since he would recognize the voice.

So it would have to be someone he didnt know. But who would spend all that time talking to him while getting nothing in return?

Just more proof he is lying and in damage control mode.

His career is probably over before it started with this.

i'm confused - I thought he met her after the Notre Dame/Stanford game at Stanford. Now she's become someone he met online? I don't know how anyone can call someone their GF if they've never met.

Also wondering this...if she was that sick to the point she "said" that "she" was going to die, If I was the BF, I would sure as hell atleast make an effort to see her before she died!! Another reason he is lying.

He has also said he met her family.. Which is weird but I guess that maybe he embellished like guys sometimes do when speaking to or about women.

I'm going to guess he got caught up in a catfish like deal and then when he figured it out he lied and lied and lied about the death to avoid embarrassment. What better time to show emotion than when you have real emotion about a real loss.

Either way I gotta say the kid probably isn't what he was made out to be then or now..

all the postseason awards are over. It probably messed up his draft slot, though, so they should have waited until after the draft to release this.

I think his draf slot got messed up right after the national championship game. I think that game showed him for the fraud that he is and that he was nothing but hype.

I feel that he had something to do with all of this.

Not to say that I believe teo or are trying to defend him or anything... But how did the girl whose pics got used, never realize she was part of a national news story, and ever catch on until now. She never once thought, hey this guys "girlfriend" really looks like me...
Maybe she's not into sports and stuff, but you'd think she would hear about it somewhere, from a sports loving friend or something...
