For those of you who aren't on Twitter, here are a couple of recent tweets. I'm extremely happy to hear it's not an exclusive draft deal. That was the only possible turn off I could think of.

To ease the minds of some, our draft football "mystery" card is NOT an exclusive draft deal! We hate those!

It is a mystery element added to add tons of resale value to the product.. And I am confident it will!

Well then I'd like to apologize for jumping the gun and being an ass. I should have secured all the information prior to forming an opinion on the product. While my opinion on exclusives hasn't changed my stated opinion on the set earlier was rushed.

I couldn't imagine OJ being a bigger hit than Barry or Emmitt.

He woulda bigger autograph draw. Sanders and Smith have new autographs released every year. It had been a long time since O.J. had autographs released.

OJ is not currently available in any other products. He has been available for many years. The last cards he signed were signed while he was incarcerated during the murder trial if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah, but he was still in other products. Pretty sure it is someone who hasn't ever had a card made.

I have a hunch (thanks to a member on another board) I might know who it is, just not sure how BG got around the restrictions.

Johnny Manziel. That would be HUGE. But like I said, not sure how BG would get around the NCAA restrictions for athletes.

I think it might be Manziel, but if so, like deceptikon said I don't see how they would get around the NCAA either, unless they struck a "deal" behind closed doors, but that would open up a can of worms.:o

Wouldn't a deal with Manziel violate some NCAA regulations? Would being paid to sign autographs harm his amateur status with the NCAA?

It sure would. I said I'm not sure how they would get around the rules for that stuff. He definately wouldn't get paid to sign the autographs.

None of the Players in the Army set are paid, so that is very possible
