Just a summary of what is left if anyone else is considering getting in on the buy:

5 packs 1981 Topps $2.50 ea.
6 packs 1983 Topps $3.50 ea.
9 racks 1984 Topps $3.20 ea.
6 racks 1985 Topps $6.00 ea.
4 packs 1995 Bowman's Best $5.63
2 packs 2001 Leaf Certified $14.25 ea.

There are also a lot of packs left in 1984 Donruss at $5.75 ea. and 1994 UD SP at $9.84 ea. I'm not sure we will fill those.

1) I can ask Steve if he will open a box of 1994 SP. I doubt he will and I wouldn't blame him for this. I don't really know what else to do on this box other than cancel the order for it.
2) 1984 Donruss is available by the pack, but it is more expensive at $6.30/pack (we can get it at $5.75/pack if we buy the whole box). I will probably just get 2 loose packs if this is the case. If anyone else wants there packs loose from this product at $6.30, let me know.

If you want to remove your orders from these two products and put the money into the others stuff that isn't full yet, let me know how you would like to redistribute it.

I just don't see an onslaught of activity in the next 24 hours for these two products, so trying to prepare ahead of time as to what we are going to do.

Also, there is a very limited number (4 to be exact) of 1979 Topps packs that he has left at $13.50 ea. If anyone wants one, please let me know immediately, so I can get them held for us. @dcubs - I know you got shut out on the grocery packs, so if you want some of these instead, let me know.

Alrighty. Sounds good, I hope!

Alright, shift my 1 x 94 SP and 3 x 84 Donruss to the last 2 x 2001 Leaf Certified.

Me too, but it's just not filling. Surprised more by the 84 Donruss not filling. Such a popular product! Maybe the Arod link to Miami PED scandal is killing the interest! I know it does for me! I shifted my pack from that box to other products.

Yea - I am sitting pretty with what else I have... I think 2 packs of each and 4 packs of '89 UD. I'll stick with that and drop off my two packs of '94 SP. If things don't fill by tomorrow, I might allocate those funds to some additional packs.

I love me some '84 Don (note my av), but can see killing that one. I do have at least 2 boxes here already (would rather bust a few packs before the whole box right now).

When we complete this, I plan to throw another one right out there as soon as possible, and I'll try the 1994 SP in it again, along with some of the other products you mentioned and some additional vintage. Change it up a bit, but keep some staples :)

I believe I have accounted for all the changes so far.

Remaining product:
4 81 Topps packs
4 83 Topps packs
8 84 rack packs
16 87 Donruss packs

If that doesn't sound right, please let me know!

It would be great if we could keep doing this. This will give me a chance to put together my favorite topps set(1985 Puckett RC) slowly by opening packs. I know its easier to buy the set but I want to do it the fun way. I might be hitting you guys up for some commons trading on the 1985 rack pack break.

I believe there are 1,152 cards in a rak box and I think the set is 792 cards, so we should have close to the complete thing within the case I'm assuming a lot of duplicates and hoping for multiples of Puckett, Clemens and Gooden to pop! This particular issue is also one of my favorite Don Mattingly cards. I would hope that a couple of these have some stars showing too and I'm assuming whoever gets those will not want to bust the packs.

I absolutely love 1985 Donruss too. It's funny how 1981 - 1983 Topps was the king amongst the three big companies and then 1984-1987 Fleer and Donruss were king. 1989 Upper Deck took over. Of course in the 90s', we saw the explosion of many product lines from the companies.

I was going to ask about the rack packs... So if players are showing, will you just randomly mail or how will that work. Just curious, I've never bought older wax :)

Very late addition, but it's dirt cheap and it's strictly for the memories if anyone wants in! Will not affect the shipping charge. Just a few more fun packs for little money!

1987 Donruss $.50/pack - contains rookies of Maddux, Bonds, McGwire (not true RC, but first in MLB uni), Bo Jackson, Joyner, Incaviglia, Daniels, etc. Easily one of the most popular products produced in modern era.

Some suggestions for the next run, including projected pack price (after 10% discount, but not other things...):
1982 Topps Wax ($3.50)
1983 Donruss ($1.88)
1987 Fleer racks ($2.07) - should be super popular
1990 Leaf Series 1 ($1.63) - another big one
1998 Leaf Rookies & Stars ($5.63)
2001 Upper Deck SP Legendary Cuts ($15) - pricey, but popular
2001 Topps Heritage ($10.32) - best Heritage set?
2001 Fleer Greats of the Game ($6)

Love the Rookies and Stars, was going to make the same suggestion. Same with Legendary Cuts despite the price.
