I am 21. Why is it called "drinking and driving" then?

I am starting to wonder how dumb people are...How hard is this for people to understand this...If you DRINK...You dont DRIVE!

You're only legally intoxicated if your alcohol blood level is over 0.08. Your body generally can process 1 drink a hour. For example, over a hour, you generally can process a beer. When we're talking about drinking and driving, we're talking about people who slam 6 beers in a hour and take off in a car. You are legally impaired then. OK, that's enough of legal discussion about drinking. There is responsible drinking and there is irresponsible drinking and hopefully you learn the difference before sounding off on an online forum like this.

If you're drunk, you don't drive. It is possible to have some drinks and not be drunk. Do a little research about it on the wide wide world of web before just spouting off nonsense you learned under that rock.

Ok kid, lets take your theory and look at it from slightly out of the box...
Lets pretend I'm at home having dinner with my wife. I have a couple beers with dinner and then a couple more while we are watching tv after dinner, then I goto bed. I wake up in the morning, not feeling any effects of the night befores beer, but I think to myself, holy shxt, I drank last night and it hasn't been 24 hours!! You are proposing I should call out of work, and not dare leave the house until the time I had my last beer the previous night?
Come on bro!

Thats the problem. When you drink, you dont feel the effect of drinking. Why do you think that people drink and drive? Becaue they think they are fine when they arent.

Actually, you do know when you feel the effects of drinking. Just not until you're chocolate wasted.

Have you ever had a beer? I would have suspected you to be an alcoholic (a feasible explanation for your lack of brain cells), but your lack of knowledge on alcohol leads me to think you're SOBAR. Seriously though, where are you getting your "facts" and forming your opinion from?

That's why those who can responsibly drink know how to without being legally intoxicated or irresponsible. There are little charts that tell you how many drinks you can have over how many hours depending on your weight and how long you should wait until your blood alcohol content is back into the legal range.

I have so many questions for you... What planet are you from? Were you home schooled? What color is the helmet you wear?

This kid is great. I need a beer. Be right back.

A little confused, bu I will answer your questions:

What planet are you from? Planet Earth

Were you home schooled? No sir.

What color is the helmet you wear? No idea hat you mean by that, but the Roncalli Jets helmet color is white with the dark blue Jets logo.

Ah, well good for you. Make sure you stick to your convictions. I still think some of your opinions are a little extreme, but I can have some respect for them since you hold yourself to that standard.

You dont need to have alcohol to have a party.

You're right. Coke, speed, heroin, painkillers are a party. Hey Biggio, I take pain meds on occasion for discs in back and a bad right shoulder. Everytime I take one in morning, should I call in sick that day?

p.s. I do not use coke, speed or heroin

You do not need drugs to have a party either.

In response to your question, if it is aspirin or something similar, no you dont have to call in.

Man you must be a blast at parties

I'm sure he never gets invited to parties with his skewed view on alcohol. Seriously you have to be joking about this. No one can be this stupid can they?
