I say you keep the Hunter PC Dave and get rid of a few of your smaller PCs

That's what I'm debating. No real "small" PC's though. Cecil Shorts is smallish. I'm trying to put momentum behind my Bilal Powell stuff, because I do believe the Jets won't re-sign Shonne Green and he'll be the starter. Picking him up cheap :secret: and if he goes off, could flip them like I did with Andre Brown this past season.

Watched a good CCHA hockey game. Now I'm going to take a little break.

Solider Field is actually pretty full. I didn't see the field getting 1/4th of the way full.

My interest in the hobby seems to be gone, for the time being. Not sure why. I just don't feel like messing with any of it.

I've been feeling that way as of late as well Steve. I've enjoyed busting boxes still, but there just hasn't been anything that I've been wanting to add to my collection recently. I did just send out 16 TTM requests, and they are the first ones ever for me

Same here actually. I enjoy ripping here and there, I just haven't had interest in investing in anything else at this point.

That's the way I've been. I've picked up a thing here and there, but mostly for friends who are scared to trade online. Nothing for my PC, that has excited me, lately.

There have been a few things listed that I wanted, but I have had a set price in my mind for quite awhile on what I would pay for them. I had a great week of sales and I could have purchased them for more than I was wanting to spend, and I though about it, but I stuck to my original price. They were rare cards as well, /50 and /20, and they were 7-10 years old too

I just haven't really found anything I even wanted to buy. I have absolutely zero focus or desire to enhance my own collection right now.

I kind of feel the same way. So I've been busting old products for nostalgia. I don't care about value or losing money, more often then not it reminds me why I liked to collect in the first place

Very cool mail day from the guys running the Free To A Good Home Contest. Big Thanks to those generous guys.

Below are a few scans. Some other cards I didn't scan are the '04 Bowman Draft Picks and Prospects set - which gives me my first cards of quite a few cool ballplayers (Felix, Wright, Plouffe, Ray Liotta to name a few).

Scans of a couple autos and the other David Robinson Hoops rookie (I think it's a rookie):

Is anyone here a member on City Data's forums? I was browsing through them, and I am thinking about signing up since I'll be moving so much over the next few years.

I think we are needing baseball to inspire us on collecting . Advantage i have is a local team and selling cards at stadium but i still spend double what i make . The economy has alot of boats sinking and the unknown factor worries all . Gas has gone up at least .50 a gal and this is the slow time for gas .
I have spent $100.00 on jerseys for the G/K's which THEY will value more than i do cards .
I 've noticed alot of collectors on Facebook which takes time from other outlets .
My buying Capps , Nyjer and 62 topps has almost stopped only buying items for resale or local players for PC

the key to collecting is Focus. FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS. Sure it can be frustrating at times, but its oh so important
