I get ringworm once a year it seems like from wrestling. I have some cream the was a prescription that burns like hell and the spots go away in about two days but I have little scars that are barely noticeable.

Sounds like a different type of ringworm. In my case, the doctor says it'll take at least two weeks to go away. And I don't feel any burning sensation from the prescription cream.
