I was surprised too. It made it easy at the beginning because there wasn't a ton of demand, but now the rarer cards are becoming much more expensive.

That's a nice card. Perk doesn't have too many on-card certs. I don't chase doubles like I used too but I love picking up the on-cards for cheap.

Oh I know what you're talking about with raising the prices of higher-end cards. I used to be able to win Span Printing Plates for <$10. Now they run me at least $20 each.

You can't blame me for most of that  Usually I was out before it got up to $20

I can still snag blank backs for $10 each, but the days of $5 plates are long gone. I look at a minimum of $20 each depending on the brand. The last one I won was $13. One on COMC for $25

The vikings are really making a splash. Let some good guys go, but picking up some nice pieces

I like what they have done. I just hope it works out well for them... Cassell pushes Ponder to be better, Jennings can contribute similar numbers as he had pre-injury, and they make good use of the draft picks they got for Percy.

Haha I know. There was our one particular friend of ours that liked to get them signed IP and for some reason loved spending $25+ per plate.

I think he's done doing that. There was no competition on my last plate, and he even told me about the one on COMC. Doesn't mean much I guess.

What bugs me though is that he owns at least 3 Perk 1/1s, and one is really nice. One of them he wanted to tear apart, which confused me (and everyone on Neshek's). I haven't lost total hope on them though. I'm hoping I can possibly put together a trade in the future for them.

Yeah! I have him on a photo and ball so I will just take cards. Don't know what to take for Walsh. I may have some Broten cards lying around somewhere to take.

Just a few things...

I will try to get to the Neal Broten signing in New Ulm. Since I have class, it's going to be close to a 5 hour round trip, so I can only attend if I have the gas money. That said, I would like to offer to FCB Twins Threaders only, a few free Broten autos. I can't take tons of stuff, so I can only open it up to the first couple people to PM me.

My only requests are:
-Send SASE or shipping money.
-To be safe, I should have everything in my mailbox by Saturday. I'll try to get home and check my mail on Monday, but I can't promise I'll make it if I'm behind schedule.

I can take anything... Jerseys, pucks, cards, photos...

Also, I just looked at Willmar's schedule. Alexandria will be in town 3 times in June, and once in August. I'll be at all of the June games, so if anyone needs anything done, you know how to PM me. Don't know if he'll sign on the road at all, but I can do my best. I can only take a couple things per game.

In Richfield, it was 2/person per trip through line and I would be shocked if Newman was tough anywhere, remember him as a pretty decent signer back in the day.

When I met him he was nice.

The NWL is pretty laid back and players/coaches are about as accessible as they can get, so I am sure he'll sign.

EDIT: I think all Menard's have the 2-per rule. I've been to 3. They also allow for multiple trips, so I should be able to get up to 6 items done total, two for myself.

BTW, I have another $10 coming your way soon.

New Gaetti pick up.

It's a 3x5 index card with Classic Gaetti auto on both sides. Kinda strange to have two autos on the same card (and I can't cut it in two to get two autos, they overlap) but It's unusual enough to be worth $5 to me.
