These guys are fighting hard for a rotation spot for the Indians and Mariners respectively. Kazmir looks to be a good choice for the fifth spot but Bonderman still needs to prove himself.

It's always sad to see such dominant young arms (i.e. Prior) fade into oblivion. But when they make a comeback, it's hard to root against them. Cheering for them both.

Have been a huge Kazmir fan for a while. Really hoping he makes the team. Early on he clearly deserves to

It's a bit easier to snag that #5 spot when you are up against Diasuke Matsuzaka....

I think Bonderman has always been a bit overrated. He was a good young up and coming pitcher, but he never really had a great season. 2006 was his best year when he went 14-8 with a 4.08 ERA and 202 Ks. Good year, but not dominant. He has never pitched a season with an ERA under 4.00. I'd love to see him make the team and get another chance.

Dice-K isnt even close to making this team! Kazmir will make team unless he get hurt! Also Carrasco/Bauer are in running/I would prefer Bauer get some time in the minors

I agree. Careasco could use some time getting back to previous form before the injury. We also get an extra year of club control of Bauer if he spends a month in the minors. Kind of makes it a no-brainer to go with Kazmir for a few months to either confirm or deny if what we're seeing in ST is legit or not.

I'm grealty depressed by Jeremy Bonderman. Guy pitched in the majors for 8 seasons (plus 2002 in the minors) before washing out of the league a few years ago, and he's still 2 years younger than I am. Makes me feel old and unaccomplished at 32.

I'd like to see Scotty get a spot. At least then I wouldn't feel do dumb for the money I've dumped into his cards!

=Why etching is and always will be awesome.

I wish Kazmir the best of luck....he always pitched well against the Sox and it surprised me when he dropped off the face of the Earth. He was a very good pitcher on some really bad Devil Ray teams.
