The Museum Collection and Artist's Proofs are simple to distinguish. But what about the Base vs. Z-Silver vs. Z-Gold? It looks like the base card has gold foil, correct? So I'm assuming it's the base and Z-Gold that are somewhat similar?

Can anyone help clarify?

It's been a long time since I opened this stuff, but the Z-gold was a tiny bit shinier than the base. The only way to tell is to hold up the two together and look closely. If you've only got one in your hand or are looking at a scan, there is no way to tell.

I'll try to dig deep into my closet and find some of these, but as far as I remember the only difference was in the reflective quality of the gold foil.

Appreciate the help weegee. I have the silver, now I have to decide if I have the base or Z-Gold. Likely the base, but I'll have to find a few others and compare. Thanked!

the gold has a reflective look to every line around the players name and the base doesn't also the logo in the top left corner

Still haven't landed a Grace Z-gold for the collection. So thought I should pick up this Pujols when I saw it for $5. Ten years from now, this will be one parallel that will be a huge thorn in player collectors' sides to locate.

Picked up 3 Z-Golds that give a good indication of the "holo" gold foil that differentiates them from the base card's flat gold foil.

Still haven't found a Mark Grace yet. And still think they're one of the mid 2000's toughest parallels.

Disappointing you could only find those scrubs. I haven't written it off, but there's a great chance I don't see this one in the next 10 years. Whoever does happen to notice it may not think it's worth listing on eBay, Beckett, COMC, etc. Hmmmph.
