JUST HIT THIS TONIGHT IN A JUMBO CASE OF 2013 BOWMAN AND I'M WONDERING HOW MANY OF YOU WOULD HOLD ONTO IT AND NOT SELL IT, SINCE IT SEEMS EVERYONE IS SELLING RIGHT NOW.

BUXTON.GOLD.AU.LRG.OS.jpg

SEEDED ABOUT 1 PER 126 JUMBO CASES, IF MY MATH IS RIGHT. MY FIRST GOLD BCP AUTO THIS YEAR! ALSO HIT AN ORANGE BCP AUTO (BONIFACIO) TONIGHT! GOOD STUFF!

Or you could get it graded in 5 day period, and get a 9.5. You will make more money in a instant!

Nice hit!

I don't believe Beckett knows how to handle cards correctly or grade consistently enough for me to send them anything anymore. Moreover, they treat their customers with disdain.

If it is solid Grade then SELL

Are you saying if I don't grade it, then hold it? Why?

No I would sell..... But of it is a solid card a 9.5/10 would sell better than raw. The raw buyer might grade it and make a profit. Maximize your profits.

I'd hold so the day he deemed a bust you can make a post saying I should of sold it when I had the chance.

Typically I sell my higher end stuff too fast, which is why I asked on this here gold auto of Mr. Buxton.

He seems to be a special talent with lots of room to grow, but the current market values are pretty nice too.

Decisions, decisions....

Regardless of how you feel Beckett treats their customers, you are leaving a significant amount of cash on the table if you decide not to get this card graded. If I had to make it guess, I would say probably at minimum $200-$300. Do not sell without getting graded. I'm actually submitting some cards next week (taking advantage of the free upgrade for the month, going to do 10 days the 20 day price), if you would like I could submit it for you.

I hear ya. I do the same. I sold my '11 Blue Ref Harper Auto for $350 which I now see sells for about $1k. Good Luck in whatever you do.

My philosophy is to ALWAYS sell hot (as long as money can be made), and when a player is H.O.T. sell even quicker.

I'd love to see a graph of the online sales of Trout autos leading up to his peak last summer. I bet he had a few quasi-spikes in values before the major explosion to place.

That said, is it beyond reason to hope for $1000 on the card right now?
