Good Morning Everyone!!

Day 1 of 2 very very busy weeks with another Go Live. This time I am back in Redding Ca. I wasn't supposed to be here until Sunday, but they are really behind with work here and I was asked to come up early and help out. I will try to get on as I can, but it is going tough. Have a good one all!

Great to be needed during a time when others are getting pink slips.

Morning fellas. Last weekends project is taking a toll on me, and I am exhausted. So...I slept until 10 this morning. It didn't help much. Have a couple if smaller projects today. Our 30 yr old central air unit went out, so I picked up a large window unit. Have to run the 220 to that and instal the unit. Cake, right? We were replacing the window the unit is going in, so I'm just going to frame the unit into it and put a different window about 3 feet to the left. Will be a fun filled day!

Hope you guys have a great weekend. Probably wont be around much.

Alex, any updated info on the Intel job in Phoenix? I was told at the union hall that a St. Louis contractor had the job and would be hiring this summer. I am on the out-of-work list in Phoenix, debating on taking a job this summer. It will be inside work, probably air conditioned also. Probably good for 6-12 weeks of employment.

Let me know if you hear anything.

Noooooo how you going to go to the national Ralph.

Man I need to do some electrical work around here. Install some ceiling fans and add some outlets to my unfinished basement. Plus wire the garage on its own breaker panel so I can add some.outside recepticals. Can you say expensive work lol.

The electrical inspector came out to inspect the 200 amp service pedestal and panel I in stalled, plus inspected the rough-in of the cabin. It passed the first time, but the inspector had an issue with a 14 gauge romex I had installed in the kitchen. I ran the cable for a shut-off switch for the well pump. I put the cable in a 2 gang box which included the kitchen GFI. The installed kitchen circuit is 20 amps, which has a 12 gauge cable installed. The inspector said I couldn't installed two different gauges in the same box.

With over 35 years in the trade, I've never heard this before. Now I get another phone call this morning, there is a new full time residence being built next door to the hunting camp, and the owner wants to know if I would install a 200 amp service on his residence. Work is starting to pile up again.

Richard, I will be in the area for the Natty, probably from Wednesday to Friday, but still debating on Saturday. I might get a room for one night in Rosemont, otherwise I'll be staying in Kenosha, about 45 minutes down I-94.
