I can't imagine dollar figures that would inspire me to sell my most prized cards...this buyer must be hardcore. Heck, I was offered $2000 for a card I paid $80 for just the other day; I turned it down. When I see those numbers typed out, I feel nuts, but I can't break up the collection.

Whoa! lol

I would sell my entire Belle collection... literally all of it... for the right price.

So if I'm reading you guys right, I have zero chance of ever seeing the Cruz Purple and Red Series II Bankruptcy Crusades because they are more than likely in this guys collection. If so, that's a bummer.

I understand what you saying but I just let go of two cards that I won't see again in my Clark collection, but got incredibly high offers involving cash and other rare Clark's that I had never owned. But yeah it was very tuff to let go of cards that won't go back on the market ;(

I have traded a few hard to find items but only because I received equally hard to find items that I wanted more in return. Money is only good if you can find what you want to buy with it.

Agreed, I would not have sold either of my 2 items that I wont get back for just $. Both deals included very high end cards as well as $ in return which helped my fund some one of a kind Clark Memorabilia as well. But as you said, the $ alone wouldn't have been enough motivation.

I'm not sure I would sell my collection. Yeah, if someone gave me a million dollars or something crazy like that. But that will never happen. So it's not something I'll ever have to worry about. So I'd rather just have my cards. To me, even trading away stuff that I'll never see again for other stuff that's just as rare holds little value for me. To me, it's about the work and memory of collecting and building a collection. It's a unique collection. So the idea of trading unique items I hunted down for other unique items doesn't work for me.

I have sold off a lot of my pc when going through a divorce in 2007 sad to say some of them 1/1 and a few rarer ones have yet to see the market. right now money alone wouldn't get me to sell again.

Who else has these in their collection, and have you ever seen more than one of any player? Thanks.
