Man people complain a lot about choices. Is it this bad when I choose between McDonald's or Burger King? No so way is it people complain when there is choices in autos? If it is a sucky graph don't by it. Everyone likes different things. Except it and move on.

If I wanted Topps autos only. I got just use the blanks used to stop pack searching. Because that is as far topps goes into making half of the autos promised. Got to love redemptions.

These were custom cards made exclusively for those who sent in THEIR own certified autographs. Since the aforementioned auto was inserted into a product and not made exclusively for an individual who sent the card in, one would easily assume that Leaf will not cut up an auto to create a cut auto card to be inserted into a product.

I'm not a fan of cuts unless it's a clean index or white paper cut, so I dislike all the Gretzky auto's listed as well as any other cut auto of a card, picture, magazine page, ect... It just looks poor, cheap, unclean, what ever term one may want to use as a cluttered sloppy mess. Having said that, the Leaf auto's look ok to me with regards to authentic. Mind you I am no more, or less, and expert of anyone here who have seen, held, owned hundreds over the past decade(s).

So in a nut shell, yes they are horrid looking cards, but for the market looking for a poor mans Gretzky auto, there is really no better option. And as BG even said, if you want a better card/auto, look to UD.

I love cuts from cancelled checks.

Another thing I HATE is when cuts use dark ink on dark backgrounds.

I just want a clean product without wasted flash.

Clean lines, well placed memorabilia and signatures, and a relevant checklist.

The last product I was truly happy with was nt baseball. As far as leaf goes, the metal line is solid. I would like to see if they can match what panini did though. We do know they can produce the cards, now let's see a set.

The initial cut is horrendous. While I don't like the Gretzky cuts they are infinitely more appealing to me.

I'd rather have the entire cancelled check, especially if the signer filled out the rest of the check by hand. It's like owning a small part of someone's life when it's something such as a check to a trash collector or for membership to some obscure club. BTW, what happens to the rest of a check when they cut the sig out?

I too would enjoy having the actual check BUT if given the opportunity for a cut card, I love when it's a check that's used. I think they look clean and you are more certain it's legit IMO.

As for what they do with the balance of the check... god knows... probably throw it away.
